FIRST LA Microsoft HoloLens Hackathon
Me and Anatoliy Ogay applied for a Microsoft HoloLens #HoloHack hosted by VRLA and Creative Technology Center without knowing what to expect and how to approach this rather new for us field of creativity.
48 hours. 90 participants. 18 teams. 4 categories. 204 liters of coffee.
In those hours we were able to create an interactive experience that would allow to transform ordinary objects in your room into musical tracks. By switching objects on and off you become a conductor on that interactive soundscape.
The future of technology sounds extremely pleasant to my ears and looks amazingly promising. As a storyteller I’m eager to embrace new tech and see how it can benefit the narrative. And the most exciting part of all, not only we were among the first people on Earth to create a holo app for Microsoft HoloLens, but also, we WON in the Spacial Audio Category!!!
